Dartmouth Health Chief Pharmacy Officer
Keith B. Thomasset was named Chief Pharmacy Officer in August 2024. In this role, he leads and provides executive leadership for all of Dartmouth Health's Pharmacy business lines: Hospital, Infusion & Research, Retail/Specialty, Clinical Ambulatory, ACO/PBM Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy Supply Chain/340B Programs and programs spanning across all Dartmouth Health sites. Additionally, he is responsible for and provides strategic oversight and direction of pharmacy programs across the Dartmouth Health member organizations and for regional programs through the New England Alliance for Health (NEAH.)
Thomasset has served in a variety of roles in the health care setting both within and outside of pharmacy. A few highlights include the interim Senior Vice President for system-wide imaging services and Chief Pharmacy Officer at Tufts Medicine. Previous to that, Thomasset was the Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Pharmacy Officer for New England Life Care, Director of Pharmacy for Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and as the VP of Clinical Services at Peabody Lahey, a large multi-specialty ambulatory clinic including surgery, emergency department and inpatient beds. Previously in his career Thomasset has served at Cardinal, Boston Medical Center, Lowell General Hospital and Johns Hopkins.
Thomasset earned his Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Doctor of Pharmacy, magna cum laude, from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, in Boston, MA. He also earned his Masters in Business Administration, Leadership, at St. Joseph's College in Maine. He completed his American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
