Following a national search, Dartmouth Health announces Keith Thomasset, PharmD, MBA, as its next chief pharmacy officer. Thomasset joins New Hampshire’s only academic health system from Tufts Medicine, where he has served as the interim senior vice president imaging and chief pharmacy officer since 2021.
“Dartmouth Health’s nationally accredited pharmacy program reaches patients not only in New Hampshire and Vermont, but across 23 other states,” said Patrick F. Jordan, III, MBA, Dartmouth Health’s chief operating officer. “In many cases, our pharmacies and pharmacy services are the only option for patients in our rural communities. We are thrilled and confident to have Keith leading these vitally important services.”
Thomasset holds both an undergraduate and doctor of pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, and a master of business administration degree from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. He completed his accredited pharmacy practice residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
"I am extremely honored and excited to join Dartmouth Health in the role of chief pharmacy officer,” said Thomasset. “It is clear that there is strong support of all pharmacy services across the system, ensuring patients not only have access to medications but receive them in a manner that optimizes their health. It will be a privilege to work with all team members to ensure patients across the system continue to receive amazing care and service."
Thomasset’s tenure begins on August 19.
