Dartmouth Health’s chief communications and marketing officer was named in a national ranking of 60 hospital and health system chief marketing officers to know. Jennifer E. Gilkie was recognized in the 2023 list by Becker’s Hospital Review among CMOs from institutions including Mass General Brigham, Cleveland Clinic and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Gilkie joined Dartmouth Health in 2017. In its ranking, Becker’s noted that Gilkie has headed system-wide communication and marketing strategy and initiatives, and is tasked with building brand reputation and recognition, marketing, and paid and earned media campaigns. She also oversees digital services, creative productions, and content development. Most recently, Gilkie led the system through a successful and comprehensive rebrand from 2019 to 2022. She also helmed Dartmouth Health’s award-winning public-facing and internal COVID-19 campaigns.
Prior to joining Dartmouth Health, Gilkie served as vice president of external affairs for NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s largest academic health systems. She serves on the boards for the New Hampshire Women's Foundation and the New Hampshire Business Council for the Arts.
