Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility provides inpatient psychiatric and substance-related disorder services for young adults.
Our facility provides safety and stabilization for most psychiatric illnesses, such as:
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Mood disorders
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Psychosis
We also provide medically supervised withdrawal management from alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines. All of these services are provided in a secure 15-bed treatment unit that is focused on providing safe, respectful care in a highly structured setting.
Once admitted, each patient is evaluated by a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, a social worker, a registered nurse, and a medical practitioner to determine a treatment plan. Each individual has an initial psychiatric assessment, social work evaluation, medication evaluation, group interventions and an aftercare plan to support transition from treatment.
We provide:
- 15-bed inpatient treatment unit
- 24-hour nursing care
- Aftercare planning with referrals
- Crisis and safety planning
- Daily medication management and monitoring
- Family involved care
- Full psychiatric and substance use evaluation
- Medically supervised withdrawal management
- Small, personalized skill-building groups
